2014 All-Star Recap

Halfway through our Season on Saturday, voting took place for our 3rd Annual All-Star evening event. Here were the voted rosters:

American League: Gus Skibbe (P/Captain), Scott Pohle (RF/Captain), Chris Meador (LF), Sam Bakula (DH)

National League: Blake Spencer (P/Captain), Sam Skibbe (DH), Peter Leicht (LF), Brian Kenney (RF)

It was the National League's turn as the home team, but it wouldn't matter as the pitching duel between Blake and Gus ensued the entirity of the game. The American League lead through two innings before the NL hit back to back to back solo home runs off of Gus to seal the 3-2 victory and garner home field advantage for the National League in this year's finals. This was by far one of the most exciting All Star games and congrats again to all of our participants in this year's All Star Saturday!
